Volunteering Overview

Volunteering is an optional way for Guild-mates to assist with the growth and organization of the Alliance. By providing our members with opportunities to assist the community the Alliance becomes self-sufficient. Every week the Volunteering Coordinators mail out a list of Volunteering Opportunities. Members can contribute to as many projects as they desire. Additionally, both Coordinators and Volunteers will receive a general customized mail regarding what was accomplished that week. This allows Coordinators to discuss ideas and potential changes, and also alerts Volunteers to which opportunities need the most help.

On-Going: Things like recruitment, and greeting are an on-going process in the Guild and Volunteers drop in and out whenever they feel like assisting. No timeline or obligations.
Temporary: These opportunities are based on rotations or deadlines. Volunteers assist for the duration of the role, which can vary.
Permanent: Permanent positions require that Volunteers are committed to a designated role. This could involve being online at specific times such as for hosting events.
